Hello lovely bump!
The Ovia app lets you switch to animals (for a singleton pregnancy at least, I don’t know if they do twins). The animals can be quite unusual, and undoubtedly harder to pose with ;)
This was the last one I had:

God I'd freak if I thought about something with claws growing in me.
Congratulations on your two-for-one boys, Vigs. I am biased but having two boys is actually a lot of fun.

Re: Buns in the oven
Ah fuck - twin 1 is 13oz and twin 2 is only 11oz, which means they’re at opposite ends of the growth chart - because they share a placenta they’re at risk of TTTS, and because they fucked up my appointments AGAIN it means they don’t know when the size difference began So I need to go in again on Thursday and Monday so they can keep a really close eye on them

I hope you get more reassuring news at the next scans.

22 weeks and it's a relief not to be hiding it at work any more!

Ooooh Vigs, 2 boys!! As a boy mum I am naturally biased but boys are great! Hope your next scans show better growth for boy 2.
Ken, what a fab bump! Hiding that would be pretty impossible!

Re: Buns in the oven
That’s us just back from the scan - we ended up with both consultants scanning me as they couldn’t decide 100% whether twin 2’s fluid level had dropped or not - two squirmy babies and a tricky membrane are making it difficult. They were swithering about sending us to the foetal medicine unit today, but have sent my notes over for now and are waiting to see what they say. We’re back on Monday and will hopefully be able to establish whether things are stable or deteriorating for twin 2.
Twin 2 still has an OK amount of fluid and good blood flow, and that’s all we can hope for right now.

Re: Buns in the oven
Not really If things deteriorate to the point where twin 2 loses his fluid and we need to laser the placenta, we’re looking at a 75% chance one twin will make it, and only 50-60% that both will.
I was supposed to be picking up a free twin pram, car seats etc this weekend but I’ve postponed until I have a better idea
of what’s happening.

Vigs
Hope the scan on Monday brings good news and that you can have a peaceful week-end before that.
