Ah well, good win, South Africa.
Because he’s an irritating little twat with a shit haircut and stupid name. Can you tell I hate him too?

I feel sorry for France, partly because I think England had a better chance of beating them next week.

You’ve just expressed exactly the same as Squeak. :dotty:

I wanted France to win, mostly to ensure a northern hemisphere team in the final. England had no chance against France or SA.

I love Faf! And am delighted with the result as MrA is a Saffa. Stressful, but a great game, I thought.

Yes, SA deserved to win as they were stronger. BUT that ref needs specs!! I have several French persons in a big huff in my house today.

I so felt for the French. They played brilliantly and they’re really a casualty of the ridiculous groups (as were Scotland). I’m glad they’re changing it next time and drawing them closer to the time.

Will be an interesting weekend for us. We're in the UK for the, much anticipated, :bob: pre-Christmas family Airbnb weekend we've booked in Brighton. It will be the first time that we've managed to get R's daughter (A) and son (D) and their families together, under one roof, for the night. Saturday night. And D's partner, L, mother of R's youngest grandson, is South African! Not sure where little Aidan's loyalties lie. He's only 2.

I'm fully expecting South Africa to win, but England have started OK.

So, England scraped third place. Better than hoped at the start, but it still stings that they were so close to reaching the final.

It's the big one tonight. S (NZ raised) is very stressed!
