Tickling the Slow Loris
Re: Tickling the Slow Loris
Videos like this (and Scribble's freecycle pic) make me fear for the world. Make your freaking bed before you put it on the internet! Or actually, just make it anyway. People disgust me :suesylvester:.
It is a very cute little animal though .

Someone has written "what kind of monkey is this?" Will people never learn?!?
I hope that woman works at an animal sanctuary.

Oh dear, it's a good thing you've never had to meet me, High Life!
I'm more worried about the loris, though. Is that pleasure, demanding to be groomed, or terrified surrender? Hands in the air, dropped weapons...

My cat lifts her arms up so you can tickle her properly.

She's a pet, called Sonya. The slow loris, not the woman tickling her.Marmalade Fires wrote:I hope that woman works at an animal sanctuary.
There are bugs being eaten in this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Th199ySVdU&NR=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Re: Tickling the Slow Loris
That's extremely bad; lorises are now highly endangered in the wild, thanks to habitat destruction, the illegal pet trade (where often animals caught from the wild have their teeth pulled to stop them biting), and the traditional medicine trade. Even if that animal was bred in captivity, someone obtaining it still encourages the trade in them.
Sorry, I'll get off my high horse now. Well, not before linking to this fine organisation, which has targeted the slender loris as in need of urgent conservation measures.

Marmo, Shoe can't be told. She went to the monkey sanctuary in Looe which is all about rescued pet monkeys and stuff, and came away wanting a pet monkey.

Re: Tickling the Slow Loris
I CAN be told, I want a monkey, and a loris now, but I would never actually have one. What I really want is to win the lottery so I can have a sanctuary and let them live as wild as possible but in a place they are safe and I can watch them. It makes me sad to watch wild animal pets, even when they are massively beautiful and smooshable.

Twitter. I use it to masturbate over John Prescott's news feed.

You two deserve one another.
Re: Tickling the Slow Loris
So you want a monkey in the same way that you want to eat a person, then; in a want to, but know you shouldn't kind of way?
Lorises.
They are my faves.

A monkey would be more useful than a cat, though. I bet a monkey would turn on the telly for you, and possibly make you tea.

When I see eyes that big I just want to poke them.

I should have mentioned; you're not meant to actually tell people about the eating people thing. But yes, it's the same kind of reasoning.

They are so pretty, you can see why people would want one, but it's not right.
