I think I'd discreetly unfollow her, Morgs.

Honestly, there would be nothing that would please her more, if the Pope was too busy to recognise her himself. She is so needy of praise that I (almost) feel sorry for her. At the best of times, she posts things like 'Mummy brought us up to speak out against injustice' (eg when someone pushes to the front of the queue in M&S - she's not Sophie Scholl), and she's in her 60's, so the 'Mummy' thing is just odd, particularly as she's been dead for years.

She has a little coterie who can be relied on to tell her how saintly she is, and I think she genuinely needs regular positive reinforcement. I got to know her over the hospital campaign, and lived to regret it. There are definite issues going on, but it's just so wearing.

I would just quietly lose her Morgs.

IWLTS: not doing so well with your 4th are you? I do hope that lawnmower was off.

Has she also posted that "the BBC have missed the mood of the nation. Boris is doing the best he can" thing?

On the other hand, I have a friend who has gone into full tinfoil hat mode. He thinks he will be imprisoned by the government if he gets coronavirus, that 5G is responsible for it, his posts are being monitored so he'll face incarceration, he will refuse a vaccine as they want to insert a chip into him. It's rather worrying!

He did a bit. It was directed towards being rabidly pro-Corbyn.

The stuff he posts is very easily fact checked, so I've done so when I can be bothered and he responds well.

God, Nine = what's wrong with people? Did everyone always have lunatic tendencies, or is it just that people have more free time these days?

If I'm being generous, maybe people are more prone to believing ridiculous things because this is an unprecedented situation no one has experienced before?
