Mr L had his 2nd vaccine over a week ago & he had some sores on his legs, which were not related. But he put some plasters on them & then developed a rash from the plasters. He never usually reacts to things like that so he thinks it’s a vaccine side effect.

Oh this is weird. C is at the vaccination place now and there’s a queue and he says it’s all couples from our street. My mum’s street was invited this way too, so it’s not that strange except that I’m not there  I also know next door are the same ages as we are, in fact the younger one is exactly my age, we both turned 37 in Feb. Why have I been left out :lg:

I’m not worried as I know I’m definitely in the system, but there’s an nhs Scotland link to contact for info if you’re 30-39 so I’ve done that now just in case. C says they have both AZ and Pfizer so that’s good.

Oh how embarrassing but brilliant, I’ve just got a text response from that link confirming I have an appointment on 4th June :weewee: I bet my letter comes through tomorrow and I’ve just petulantly jumped the gun

C also says he was sitting in the seat doing final questions when he got pulled out and put into the Pfizer queue, because he was put in the AZ one in error for his age at the door. So they’re definitely going with the no AZ for under 40s there.

Not petulant at all, Leap! I’m glad you’ve got an appointment now.

I’ve now got some lovely Pfizer in my arm! I thought I’d feel all emosh but nothing at all. Perhaps because I didn’t get a sticker or a badge :))

I had the J&J vaccine on Friday and while I was sitting in the observation room afterwards my head started to hurt a bit but I doubt I would have noticed it much if I wasn’t looking out for it. Other than a normal sore arm/ shoulders that I get most years with the flu vaccination I’ve had no other side effects.

Some of my colleagues described feeling like they were hungover the next day but that seems to be the worst I’ve hears

My 30 year old friend was done at the weekend. It's incredible. I didn't think I'd get my first until September originally.

Yes, I would have been pleased to get it done at any point in 2021 really. It's so impressive.

It’s so impressive how quickly they’ve turned it round.

I had my second jab this morning and there was such a jovial atmosphere . Everyone was in such a good mood, it was so lovely to see.

I’m now picking up 5G in full stereo, to mix my metaphors. I’ve decided to sack off work for the remaining hour and a half of the day and chill out on the sofa with Shadow & Bone on the Netflix.

Does anyone know how to check a vaccination appointment without a booking reference? Mr G never got a confirmation email so no booking reference and can't remember exactly when his second appointment was booked for. :ella: I thought I had read something on here about it but I can't find it. The NHS website needs his booking reference, apparently.
