Re: Covid-19
Oh, I hope she has minimal symptoms and doesn’t pass it on.
I don’t know your rules, but here if she’s asymptomatic a positive lft is fine and isolate for 7 days. If she’s showing symptoms then it’s a PCR. The 3 of you would be able to go about your business as usual with daily lfts.

Re: Covid-19
I finally found the updated advice. If you are a contact you are supposed to do daily lfts for 7 days. No need to SI if you are fully vaxxed.

Aren't we supposed to not do PCRs now if you don't have symptoms? Or is that something that is yet to be implemented?

I know I’m not allowed into the hospital now unless I’m absolutely critical to its running. Which I’m not.

Re: Covid-19
I hope she is OK Pip.
When we have been in before there is usually only 10 others on so we can spread out. However if they are saying the whole IT dept needs to be in there isn't enough desks so there will be no 2m space. We don't need to be in to do our job. I think the issue is that we see the agile working policy as just being in the office 2 days but HR see it as us still being in most of the week

Oh yes, maybe you need to have a PCR as a critical worker, or working in hospitals etc.

Re: Covid-19
Oh no Pips. Has she any symptoms? One of my team has a family member who tested positive this morning and we had the same conversation about what she was supposed to do. I still couldn't tell you.
Bambs is a little older, but her A-levels were completely screwed up by Covid. She has results and a University place, but no sense of achievement, no experience of independence, she missed out on all the social stuff that goes on at that age.
There was no continuity with her medical care, she has a thyroid condition that triggered her anxiety, coupled with lockdown, fear that everyone would die, exam stress, the nihilism (we have the job, house, future conversation at least once a week). She's been on Sertraline for the last year.

Honestly, this should all be so simple.

It really should!
I can’t get any more LFTs right now, but I’ve booked PCRs for tomorrow. If it turns out we shouldn’t have them, .

It's so confusing. I hope Squeak stays well, and the rest of you too.

Are you still in your 90 days though? Do you have new symptoms?

Re: Covid-19
I had it in October. Still just about in the 90 days but I’ve been testing neg in between. I thought that only applied to PCR, but actually it’s a good point. Is there any point me going for one?

Re: Covid-19
Mine have all been neg too but D’s have sometimes shown a faint line and sometimes not. Lie low today and test again tomorrow?
When I’ve googled, I found various documents for healthcare workers that says no PCR or LFTs should be taken for 90 days but, unsurprisingly, is not very clear!
