We bumped sausage chips and beans to the top of the list and had it tonight. It was good.

I'm trying to get back into the meal planning groove. I want to cook mainly veggie too.

Mon: lemon, tomato and cardamom dhal and rice.
Tues: smoky mushroom and kale lasagne, salad
Weds: veggie tacos with all the fixings
Thurs: spinach manakish, hummus, baba ganoush, chopped salad, feta dip, pitta

Is one meal just “broccoli”? I fancy the others.

That is surely the first time I've mis-spelled broccoli since I was quite young. :uhh:

It is the biggest broccoli I have ever seen so it will be more than one meal but I just have yet to decide. One will probably be broc, anchovy, chill pasta and the other maybe some kind of chinese-y dish with pork or chicken.

We're away at the weekend then it's a use-it-up week! That includes camping food we haven't used.

Car picnic
Pizza/boil-in-the-bag curry
Beans on toast
Pesto pasta
Bean chilli (either from freezer or tin)
Pasta in tomato sauce
Freezer soup

Saturday ended up being emergency courgette pasta and salad.
Sunday was rotisserie chicken with puy lentil salad, green salad and baguette. Chocolate cake and raspberries. Worth waiting for!
Trying again with planning:

Mon: chicken leek and tarragon pie with roasted carrots, green beans, spinach and peas. More chocolate cake and raspberries for dessert.
Tues: black pepper tofu, rice, broccoli, cucumber salad
Wed: veggie tacos (black bean, corn and all the fixings)
Thurs: swiss chard gratin with rosemary garlic bread and salad
Fri: tbc I want to move away from Liv's favourite chicken and zucchini burgers to a veggie option. Maybe falafel burgers with hummus?

It was just this HF recipe. A bit like chilli on top of wedges. https://www.hellofresh.co.uk/recipes/ch ... b7de19ed52 So not very authentic!

I thought you were veggie, LM? Were you, or I thinking of someone else?

I can't stick to may planning list at all and made Alison Roman spicy tomato and fennel soup with focaccia and salad. It's all this chat of the Roman Empire making me want to cook her recipes
