From reading about this on Twitter I was linked up to an old documentary from 1992 about people and their interior design choices called Signs of the Times and it is absolutely marvellous and everyone must watch it. It is both hilarious and nostalgic at once. From normal people through to the very posh and each one quite extraordinary. :))

It's utterly hideous but you have to admire their commitment to their aesthetic!
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.
