Dress me (because I hate it!)

Awards night dresses. These are the ones I have here at the moment. Thoughts please!

Green - has a sparkly gold thread in the detail
Red - many, many sequins
Black sheath - silver sparkly bits
Skater - bronze metallic detail on skirt

NB - suck it in underwear not present!

I think the red one is lovely on you, that'd be my pick (as long as it's comfortable! Comfort is key for me these days.)

I’m 5ft2, more hips than boobs and I don’t really want to spend more than about £70 as I’ve splurged on a hotel room for the night so I can chill in the spa on the afternoon before!

I also think suck it in underwear is not required. Especially if the awards involve dinner!

I think the red best - that neckline is good on you. 2nd choice is the daisy dress which is also lovely. Also don't think either of those need "sucking in".

I have basic black handbags but my shoe/jewellery/make up skills are nil.

I think you need to hit up one of the department store makeup counters for a quick lesson. I bet Bobbi Brown would be a good bet as they’re famed for natural looking makeup.

I’d also consider a styling appointment too. The red is nice but feels a bit wintry to me.

I like the red dress and the last one. The necklines suit you. A pair of gold heels and a gold bag would go with both but I am old and maybe shouldn't be giving an opinion

I think dresses 1 and 3 are a bit frumpy.

1 looks very nice on, but it just gives off mother-of-the-bride vibes to me. And 3 looks a bit daytime-wedding, but maybe that's just the daisies throwing me that direction?
