We got a second one
It's a mopping one but not the all singing, all dancing one just one with a water tank and a cloth that you take on and off.
Bob has retired upstairs and Bobette who is much more efficient cracks on with downstairs. We are going to get her to mop twice a week which is enough.

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

Botty and Little Alan.
It's like they are both named for TC
I forgot one of mine mops. I didn't really get into that due to having a rug downstairs, but would love it to mop twice a week. What are you doing with any rugs, Bramble?

Re: Robot vacuum cleaners
Our vacc/mop robot detects rugs & lifts the mop up, although I try to avoid it going on them really as I don't trust it to not just wipe all over the rug. You can take the mop cloth off so most of the time it just vaccs.

My Harry is currently hoovering and mopping the kitchen. I am so tempted to stick a photo of Harry Styles on him!
And yes, I do sit and watch him trundle up and down the room.

My Arthur appeared to get the hump when I got out my non robot hoover/mop the other day, and he started off cleaning of his own free will. It must have been the vibrations or something as I was nowhere near him. Or he's sentient and doesn't want this upstart taking his job from him.

Re: Robot vacuum cleaners
Ours is simple and won't detect so I have to lift the rug but it's not a big issue. I just move it and the footstool onto the sofa.
I will still do a deep clean mop every so often but this just keeps on top of it.

Mine doesn't detect either. My rug has furniture on it though I could bend the ends up so the hooooove doesnt mount itbramblerose wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2024 5:55 pmOurs is simple and won't detect so I have to lift the rug but it's not a big issue. I just move it and the footstool onto the sofa.
